## 2. What the service is

- A **dedicated** European mobile proxy: one customer per physical 4G modem.
- Real carrier-grade mobile egress on the **Telekom Slovenije** mobile network (Slovenia, EU / AS5603).
- Unlimited data bandwidth on the dedicated line. Plans are sold by **time**, not by GB.
- Protocols: **HTTP CONNECT** and **SOCKS5**.
- IP rotation on demand from the dashboard, or headlessly via a public rotation URL/API.
- Raw, real mobile exit IPs. The product is marketed as **European / EU 4G** — not as Germany, Poland, US, or fake city targeting. Ljubljana is the company city, not a geo-targeted location.

Not this product: a shared mobile pool, a 50-port reseller catalog, a per-GB residential network, or a datacenter proxy.

- One dedicated modem per customer. Extra lines are available via support.
- First-purchase refund: only if the line cannot connect after following the published setup steps and contacting support, within 24 hours, and only when a material share of the time was not used. Not a blanket money-back guarantee.

## 5. Network setup

1. **Checkout** — pay on Stripe with email, card, and billing address.
2. **Open the dashboard** — host, ports, username, and password appear once the modem is assigned.
3. **Connect** — use the credentials in a browser (HTTP) or an app/tool (HTTP or SOCKS5).

The dashboard shows the exact endpoint for your modem. The public service endpoints are:

## 6. Proxy connection format

HTTP proxy URL form:

- `<username>` and `<password>` are your dedicated credential values (not your dashboard login).

## 7. IP rotation API

The customer-facing, unauthenticated rotation path triggers the same backend flow as the dashboard **Change IP** button. Only the modem's public IP changes; your proxy username/password/host/port stay the same.

### 7.1 URL format

- HTTP method: **GET** only.
- `username` (alias `u`): the gateway proxy username.
- `key` (alias `k`): the per-credential **rotation secret**, shown once when generated in the dashboard. The proxy password is **not** accepted here.

### 7.2 Getting a rotation URL

- Dashboard: log in at `https://proxygateway.si/customer`, open the **Rotation link (URL)** card, generate, and copy the URL. Regenerating invalidates the previous key.
- The secret is stored hashed; the plaintext is shown only once. Save it.

### 7.3 Response formats

Default (no `Accept: application/json`) is plain text, suitable for a browser bookmark:

### 7.4 Timeouts, rate limits, cooldown

- Rotation can take **40–150 seconds**. Set client timeout to **≥200s**.
- Rate limit: **10 requests per hour** per client IP and per username (configurable).
- Cooldown: **60 seconds** minimum between successful rotations for the same username.
- On `429`, back off and respect `retryAfterSec` when present.

Prerequisites: active subscription, dedicated lease, and a rotate-ready modem. Shared plans cannot rotate.

## 8. FAQ

**What do I actually get?**
One dedicated European 4G modem, 1:1 with you, unlimited data, HTTP and SOCKS5.

**Will this charge me every month?**
Only the €42 30-day plan renews as a subscription. The €1 and €19 plans are one-time and do not auto-renew.

**Do I keep the same modem if I buy a longer plan?**
Yes. The same modem is reused across the daily, weekly, and monthly plans.

**How soon can I connect?**
Host, ports, username, and password appear in the dashboard once the modem is assigned after checkout.

**How do I change the IP?**
Use **Change IP** in the dashboard, or call the public rotation URL/API. Rotation is for dedicated plans.

**HTTP or SOCKS5?**
Both. Use HTTP CONNECT in a browser; use SOCKS5 for apps that prefer it.

**What happens when the plan ends?**
The line stops at the end of the purchased term. The monthly plan renews until cancelled.

**Can I get a second modem?**
Yes, via support. Each line is one dedicated modem.

**Do you look at my traffic?**
