Ad verification and price monitoring with a mobile proxy
What you see in an ad or a price depends on where the request comes from. A mobile exit in the right country shows you the version a real visitor gets, which is the point of both ad verification and price monitoring.

Ads and prices are not the same everywhere. The page a target serves depends on where the request comes from, so checking from your own connection tells you what you see, not what a customer sees. A mobile exit in the right country closes that gap.
Why the exit IP changes what you see
Retailers and ad platforms localise by IP: currency, availability, offers, and which creative is served. From a datacenter IP you often get a default or a blocked view. From a mobile IP in the target country you get the ordinary local version.
Ad verification
To confirm an ad runs where it should, load the page from that region and check the creative, the landing page, and the frequency. Mobile placements especially need a mobile exit, because desktop IPs are not shown the mobile version.
Price monitoring
Price checks compare what a shopper sees, per region. Rotate when you need breadth across many pages, and keep one address per session so a page does not shift under you. The rules follow avoid getting blocked while scraping.
Keep the region consistent
Match the IP country, the browser timezone, and the language. A mobile IP in one country with a browser set to another is a mismatch that can change the page you get.
Set the currency and locale the same way, so the page you capture is the one the customer would see.
Automating the checks
Most teams drive this with a headless browser, as in proxies in Selenium and Playwright. One context per region, one proxy per context, and the results are comparable. Which exit suits which target is covered in proxies for scraping.
Why not check prices from my own connection?
Because the page is localised to your IP. You see your region's version, not the one a customer in another country sees. A local exit shows the real customer view.
Do I need mobile for ad verification?
For mobile placements, yes. Desktop IPs are not served the mobile version, so a mobile exit is the only way to see what a phone user gets.
Should the IP rotate for price checks?
Rotate when you need breadth across many pages, but keep one address per session so the page does not change mid-check.
What else has to match?
The country, the timezone, and the language. Set them to the proxy's region, or the mismatch can change the page you are served.
