Paying for a proxy with crypto

Paying in crypto removes the card network from the transaction and reaches buyers who cannot or will not use cards. It does not make you anonymous, and it does not change what the provider already knows.

Some buyers prefer to pay for a proxy in crypto. The reasons are usually privacy and access: no card network in the middle, and no need for a card at all. It is not a way to be invisible, and it is not always the easiest option.

Why people pay in crypto

Two honest reasons. First, privacy: the payment does not run through a card processor. Second, reach: buyers in places where cards are awkward or unavailable can still pay. The two are separate, and neither is about hiding from the law.

How a crypto checkout works

A provider that accepts crypto shows a payment address or a hosted checkout, you send the amount, and the plan activates once the payment confirms. Confirmation can take minutes, so plan for that delay rather than expecting instant access.

Availability depends on the provider and the current checkout. The place to see what is live is the plan page itself, in dedicated mobile proxy plans.

What it does not hide

Paying in crypto hides the card, not your identity. The provider still knows which modem it assigned you, and the websites you visit still see the mobile IP. If the checkout collects an email for credentials, that email is part of the record.

When a card is easier

A card is faster and comes with chargeback rights a crypto payment does not. If you want a receipt trail, a card wins. If you want to keep the card out of the transaction, crypto wins. Pick the one that matches your reason.

Keep your access portable

Whatever you pay with, the thing to protect is the account, not the payment. Credentials are issued to the account once the modem is assigned, and the setup is the same either way, as how it works shows.

Does paying in crypto make me anonymous?

No. It removes the card network from the payment. The provider still knows which line it assigned you, and sites still see the mobile IP.

Is crypto payment instant?

Not always. Block confirmations take time, so access can follow the payment by minutes. A card usually activates faster.

Which is better, card or crypto?

A card is faster and carries chargeback rights. Crypto keeps the card out of the transaction. Choose by which of those matters more to you.

Do I get the same plan either way?

Yes. The plan and the modem are the same; only the payment method differs. Confirm what is live on the plan page before you buy.
