Pairing a proxy with an anti-detect browser

An anti-detect browser gives each profile its own device fingerprint; a proxy gives it its own network. Used together, one profile equals one identity. The trick is to keep them matched and leak-free.

An anti-detect browser and a proxy do different jobs. The browser changes the device fingerprint, so profiles look like different machines. The proxy changes the network, so they look like different connections. One profile plus one proxy equals one identity.

What each one isolates

The anti-detect browser isolates cookies, storage, canvas, WebGL, fonts, and the rest of the fingerprint. The proxy isolates the IP and ASN. Neither is enough alone: a unique fingerprint on a shared IP is still linked, and a unique IP on a shared fingerprint is linked too. If you run profiles in GoLogin, AdsPower, Dolphin Anty, or Multilogin, give each profile its own line. The same applies to Incogniton, Kameleo, Octo Browser, VMLogin, or NstBrowser. Check the profile with the browser fingerprint checker before a real login.

One profile, one IP

The rule is simple and worth enforcing in writing. Each profile gets its own line and, if the tool supports it, its own sticky session. Never log two profiles into the same platform through one IP.

That is the same one-account-per-IP rule from how many accounts one proxy can run, applied inside the browser.

Match the timezone to the IP

A profile whose clock says one region while the proxy exits in another is a mismatch. Set the profile timezone, language, and locale to the proxy's country. Most tools do this automatically when you set the proxy first.

HTTP or SOCKS5 in these browsers

The setup is short, but every step matters because a missed field silently leaks.

  1. Paste the host and port the browser asks for; browsers want the HTTP endpoint.
  2. Put the username and password in the profile's proxy fields, not in a saved browser login.
  3. Run the built-in IP check and confirm the country.
  4. Run a WebRTC check to be sure the profile is not leaking.
  5. Recheck after any profile change, because a reset can clear the proxy.

Keep sessions stable

Choose a stable address per profile and change it only between sessions. Rotating a profile's IP mid-login looks wrong. The browser automation page, dedicated 4G proxy for browser automation, shows how this fits an automated setup.

Do I need both a proxy and an anti-detect browser?

For accounts that must stay separate, yes. The browser isolates the device fingerprint and the proxy isolates the network; each covers a different signal.

Can several profiles share one proxy?

Only if the accounts can be linked. If they must stay apart, give each profile its own IP.

Why does one profile keep getting checks?

Often a timezone or language mismatch, or a shared IP. Match the profile settings to the proxy's country and check whether the IP is shared.

Should profiles rotate their IP?

Keep one stable address per profile and change it only between sessions, not during a login.
